Bespoke Ring for Joshua Kane

After having worked as senior designer at both Burberry Prorsum and Paul Smith, it was inevitable that Joshua Kane’s drive and energy would lead him to launching his eponymous label.

And what better way of commemorating this venture than by having a bespoke ring made to match his playful and eccentric tailoring style.

Taking centre stage is Joshua Kane’s own heraldry, which is also found throughout his tailoring. Based on his crest and eccentric British style, we created a ring that draws inspiration from classic British architecture as well as speaks a rich and ornamental design language.

After various design iterations done by hand we crafted the ring in 3D, a laborious and meticulous process, which gave us unprecedented control over the details of the relief and ensured the herald matched the original design.

Once the ring had been cast, it was hand finished and polished in our London studio, ensuring each detail, line and shape was exactly as we wanted.

After the final polishing the top of the ring was plated in 22 karat yellow gold leaving the shank to be oxidised for a high contrast, final look.

The Limited Edition

The Limited Edition

After receiving his personal ring, Joshua commissioned a limited edition of five rings for his store, each one handmade in a unique color finish, from rose and yellow gold, to polished and oxidised silver.

The limited edition collection was sold exclusively in Joshua Kane’s Spitalfields flagship store in London.
